Can’t send email
1
Verify SMTP settings
Confirm your outgoing server matches EnrolWeb’s hostname. Use port 465 (SSL/TLS) or port 587 (STARTTLS).
2
Check for port blocking
Some networks block port 25 or 587. Try port 465, or test from a different network or mobile hotspot.
3
Review SPF and DKIM
Missing or incorrect SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records cause messages to be rejected. See [Email DNS Records](/Business Email & Collaboration/cant-sign-in-2-2-3-2).
Can’t receive email
1
Check MX records
Confirm your MX records point to the correct mail servers. Use an online lookup tool or
dig MX yourdomain.com.2
Check disk quota
A full mailbox will bounce new messages. Log in to webmail and delete or archive old messages.
3
Check spam and filters
Look in the junk folder and review any forwarding rules or custom filters that might redirect mail.
Emails going to spam
1
Configure SPF
Add or update an SPF TXT record authorizing your provider’s servers.
2
Enable DKIM
Enable DKIM in your provider’s admin console and publish the TXT record in EnrolWeb DNS.
3
Set up DMARC
Start with
p=quarantine or p=none to monitor, then move to p=reject once records work.4
Protect your sender reputation
Avoid bulk or unsolicited mail, keep lists clean, and use a consistent From address.
Sign-in issues
1
Reset your password
Use the password reset link on the webmail or control panel login page.
2
Check two-factor authentication
Confirm you’re entering the current 2FA code. If you lost access to your 2FA method, contact support.
3
Use app passwords
Some clients don’t support 2FA prompts. Generate an app-specific password in your provider’s admin panel.
Sync problems
1
Verify IMAP settings
Confirm server, username, port, and security match EnrolWeb’s recommendations.
2
Re-add the account
Remove and re-add the account on the affected device to clear stale credentials.
3
Update your client
Older versions of email clients often have TLS or sync bugs. Update to the latest version.
